Gates are the primary entrance to your property and should be both functional and beautiful. Whether you are looking for a pedestrian walk gate or a driveway gate we have many styles available. If you are more interested in a custom designed gate, we can build to your specifications. We have re-purposed antique gates for some of our customers. Utilizing 100+ year old gates and incorporating them into the fence line. Customizing gates for our customers is a passion we enjoy.
Single Gates
Security Iron Co. will install most types of wood fencing. On our typical 6′ tall Privacy Fence we use three horizontals instead of the more traditional 2 rails which translates into a stronger fence. We use both a treated southern pine and/or cedar boards for our Wood Fencing. We can install either galvanized round, square and/or 4″ x 4″ treated wood post depending on your choice and style of fence. Our gate frames are tubular steel and the boards are screwed to the frames. This eliminates one of the most annoying problems with wooden fences, the sagging gate! The gate hinges are adjustable and have grease fittings to allow years of trouble free operation.

Double Gates
Our Double Gates are made to match our Traditional & Plantation Fence Panels with further enhancements for strength and beauty. Cross Bracing w/ Rosettes, Arched Tops & Custom Castings can be added to your gates. We also manufacture and build Wood, Chain Link & Vinyl Gates to suit your needs.

Slide & Cantilevered Gates
Slide & Cantilever Gates offer several advantages over swing gates.
• They do not need the space that swing gates require while opening.
• Generally open alongside the existing fence or wall.
• Cantilevered gate can be used when a gate may need to traverse a curb or there is a gravel or decorative entrance and a track would be undesirable.
• Slide gates are great for sloped driveways where a swing gate would not work
• A single automatic operator can be utilized verses two operators needed on a dual swing gate system.
• Less maintenance over the life of the gate system.
Security Iron will help in designing a safe gate system to fit your needs. All our gates will be made UL 325* compliant when utilizing an automatic gate operator.
